Like a Hurricane
I don't believe it!
After months of looking forward to finally getting away on our summer holidays, a typhoon (hurricane) has hit Hong Kong, just a few hours before we are due to fly. What makes it even more annoying is that the typhoon had already gone past Hong Kong once and missed us, heading off on it's way towards the Mainland, when it decided to suddenly about turn and have another go, picking up strength on the way.
The typhoon warning signal T8 has just been raised, which means everyone can now go home (or to the pub - depending upon your inclination), which at 3:00pm on a Friday afternoon would normally be very well received at any other time of the year. Our flight is supposed to take off tonight at 8:45pm, and we are already checked in, so we will just have to wait and see how things go. Ahhhggghh!!!
